General notes:
Care should be taken to ensure that the circulating pump is suitable for operation with antifreeze. The system should be flushed with water before filling and checked for tightness of all connections by pressure testing. The system should be filled with HEATING GOLD BIOETHANOL SUPER 8 | 10 or 15 immediately after pressure testing. Do not introduce air!
Galvanized plant components should be avoided. The heat transfer medium circuit should always be designed as a closed system with diaphragm pressure compensation vessels according to DIN 4807. Oxygen ingress consumes the corrosion inhibitors. Therefore, use only low-diffusion connecting elements or hoses. In our experience, HEATING GOLD BIOETHANOL SUPER 8 | 10 and 15 can be stored and used for several years. Nevertheless, the concentration (frost resistance) should be checked annually.
Do not refill with water in case of liquid loss. Only use HEATING GOLD BIOETHANOL SUPER 8 | 10 or 15 for refilling! According to the product of the initial filling!
Mode of action:
HEIZUNGSGOLDBIOETHANOLSUPER8|10 and15 are ready-to-use antifreeze and heat transfer fluids based on denatured bioethanol. They are used primarily in geothermal and heat pump systems, but also in cooling and heating systems.
Bioethanol is produced from renewable raw materials. The special corrosion inhibitors protect the metals and plastic materials commonly used in plant construction, including copper and aluminum, against corrosion, layer formation and deposits. Thus, the efficiency of the plants is maintained. Sealing materials are not attacked by HEATING GOLD BIOETHANOL SUPER 8 | 10 and 15.
HEATING GOLD BIOETHANOL SUPER 8 | 10 and 15 does not require labeling according to the Ordinance on Hazardous Substances.
Material compatibility:
Materials commonly used in plant and heating construction are not attacked. Polyurethane elastomers, phenol-formaldehyde resins and soft PV are not resistant.
Test method of corrosion properties:
We recommend checking the backfilled heat transfer fluid regularly (at least once a year).
You can check the corrosion properties of our heat transfer fluid via the pH value. The pH value should be > 7.5.
The measurement is carried out using pH measuring strips. If the value is lower, the heat transfer fluid should be replaced. is produced on the basis of denatured bioethanol and has a very good viscosity.
