KW 1021 is chemically and thermally stable up to over 100° C. The carbonate hardness can be stabilized up to approx. 30 ° dH, the total hardness up to approx. 100 ° dH. The corrosion-inhibiting effect is achieved through the combination of organic phosphorus compounds and special inhibitors for copper and brass through the formation of a protective layer. This protective layer is kept in a dynamic equilibrium by the dispersants contained.
Sludge that has settled is dispersed again, preventing new deposits.
No return or reimbursement of the containers.
Properties:
Nature: yellowish, clear liquid
Chem. name: combination of phosphonates, polycarboxylic acids and corrosion inhibitors.
pour point: approx. -4°C
ph-value: approx. 4.0
solubility (20°C): any ratio in water
density (20°C): approx. 1.1
Mode of action:
KW 1021 is chemically and thermally stable up to over 100°C. The carbonate hardness can be stabilized up to approx. 30° dH, the total hardness up to approx. 100 °dH. The corrosion inhibiting effect is achieved by the combination of organic phosphorus compounds as well as special inhibitors for copper and brass by a protective layer formation. This protective layer is kept in a dynamic equilibrium by the dispersing agents it contains. Deposited sludge is redispersed, new deposits are prevented.
Application:
KW 1021 can be used at all pH-values, a control is not necessary.
Dosage:
KW 1020 is available in ready-to-use solution. The average product concentration in the circuit is 100 g FC 370 per m3. The addition quantities per m3 of make-up water are therefore calculated from the thickening number. Example: With double thickening, the addition quantity is 50 g FC 370 per m3 of make-up water. Dosing is carried out directly from the container into the make-up water. The dosing system must be equipped to withstand corrosion.
Analysis:
Via P2O5 - analysis after acid digestion. 1 g/m3 P2O5 corresponds to 80 g/m3 KW 1021.
Shelf life:
At least 2 years, in unopened original container and cool storage.
